Rhonda Trusty
Marketing, Tourism, Events and Community Storytelling.
Rhonda's background is in television, and it shows in how she approaches Marketing. On TV you have a few seconds to get someone's attention, and the same is true for a town, a tourism spot or a local business. Between them, she and Perry have close to twenty years of television experience.
She has since worked in Marketing, tourism, event development, social media and community promotion. Rhonda likes to start with how people should feel about a place rather than what we want to sell them, because people act on places they feel connected to.
Prince Albert Downtown
As Co-Executive Director of the Prince Albert Downtown Business Improvement District, Rhonda launched Shop Talk, a series of interviews, photos and short videos about Downtown business owners. She also worked on interactive public art, the Back Door Art Gallery and the Downtown security program.
She took a fresh look at the Downtown Street Fair and tripled the sponsorship, doubled the vendors and doubled the crowd, from 15,000 to 18,000 people to more than 30,000.
